Public areas in particular are most at risk of ignition of weed control fabrics by discarded cigarettes or deliberate vandalism. Being made from PLA, BIOCOVERS® is naturally fire resistant! We have experienced the burning behaviour of BIOCOVERS® in Dublin. Youngsters tried to set fire on the fabric, but they didn’t succeed and had to stop their attempts. The edges of the fabric have melted, but that was it. BIOCOVERS® is a safe product for motorway and roadside/railroad planting.
